Class Descriptions

Classes at Inner Power YogaAt Inner Power Yoga, we teach vinyasa yoga (also known as power yoga), one of the most popular forms of yoga practiced in the world today. As we move through a series of poses, the movements and the breath are continuously linked together allowing us to experience a "state of flow" where our practice becomes effortless, and we become stronger and more flexible than we have ever thought possible.

You will sweat, work hard, be challenged and succeed!

Basics

New to yoga or just would like to slow the practice down, this class gives more attention to the alignment of the poses and offers modifications to the students while still achieving the flow and power of an all levels practice.

All Levels

A challenging, yet accessible class, helping the students find their edge, strengthen their bodies and stretch their minds to discover what is possible. Classes are taught in the power yoga style, flowing between movements and accessing inner strength and grace throughout the practice.

Ashtanga

Most forms of vinyasa or power yoga have their roots in the Ashtanga style of practice. Enjoy the active, fluid and balanced Ashtanga primary series in this led class.

Candlelight Yin

This class consists of longer held passive poses that relieve stress in the deeper muscles and joints, and finishes with a gentle flow that builds warmth in the body and calms the nervous system. Benefits of the practice are increased flexibility, energy flow and relaxation; Yin yoga is a great balance to the more vigorous form of vinyasa or power yoga.

Community Classes

Donation-based classes, making yoga accessible to all who wish to participate. Suggested amount $10.

Join us for a fun, upbeat and challenging vinyasa flow practice every Friday evening! Set to world beats as well as popular music, prepare to get your sweat on as we move and breathe together.
